Huh. This is a little confusing. Do you s’pose this milk has lactose in it?

FIVE TIMES. That’s how many times the front of this package says “lactose free.” Why? Why, I ask you?

Writing by committee is my guess. I’m thinking the designer took in a nice, clean, simple design that boldly proclaimed “lactose free” one time and the product manager said, “no, people might miss that.” And the designer was asked to put it on the top of the carton in case customers were only looking down at the package, and on the right in case they looked there, and on the left in case they looked there, and front and center too because it’s already there and it would look funny to take it out, and also on the bottom, for good measure.

Sheesh.
